Accessibility

JOOD Labs intends this website and its institutional environments to be usable by everyone who needs them.

Keyboard navigation

Every link, button, form field and dialog on this site can be reached and operated with a keyboard. Focus is visible at all times, the workspace-access panel traps focus while it is open and closes with the Escape key, and the mobile menu behaves the same way.

Readable contrast

The site uses deep black text on white, and crisp white text on black, rather than low-contrast gray for meaningful information. The signal color is used sparingly and never as the sole means of conveying meaning.

Responsive design

Layouts are designed for desktop, tablet and mobile widths without horizontal scrolling, and text remains readable when a browser is zoomed to 200 percent.

Reduced motion

Motion on this site is restrained and purposeful. When a visitor's system requests reduced motion, transitions, animated sequences and smooth scrolling are disabled.

Semantic structure

Pages use semantic landmarks, a single main heading per page, ordered heading levels, labelled form controls and descriptive names for icon-only controls, so assistive technology can present the structure accurately.

Reporting an accessibility barrier

A dedicated channel for reporting accessibility barriers is being configured and will be published on this page once verified. Accessibility findings will be treated as defects and prioritized accordingly.
